The state of our country breaks my heart. I voted for the lady of course and feel it was actually stolen from her. Glad you're making more music and can't wait to hear it! Thank you for being the your authentic self as usual.
Shelby, I see LBT will be in Rogers, Arkansas later this month. We will be there, but I didn’t see you on the line up.
“They” can go backwards in history all they want, but I keep fighting for our rights and pushing forward. Living my life the only way I WANT and not to be told how to live my life. Loud and proud, baby!!
I think this 4th was bittersweet for so many of us. How this ugly, cruel turn in our collective journey has caused many of us whi are creative, sensitive, loving, and observing, to find a strange kind of patriotism (or something akin) for the kind of connection you describe. And -- at least for me -- a real wondering about my place in this story. Until we make sense of any of it, it's this kind of shared remembering and connection (what art and music and animals do for us) that's gonna keep us going forward I think. We are not alone, even in our lonliness. Thank you.
Sometimes reaching back in time restores our soul, each time a different feeling.
I never thought I'd live to see a man take us so far back in time and be so full of hate. Things he has done cannot be unseen. It's a world full of fear and the unknown.
I wish you well, I hope you churned out some fresh peach ice cream.
Shelby, you have my respect and admiration for commenting on the sad state of affairs in our country currently. "A people that can no longer distinguish between truth and lies cannot
distinguish between right and wrong...with such people you can do whatever you want." I hope to see you in Charlotte on September 13. Take care...
Shelby (same name as my mother, also a singer-songwriter), your writing is so beautiful. What is "bream fishing"? I've never heard of it. :) I love cantaloupe. I took a big long walk in the woods with my best friend yesterday. I usually hate the energy of the 4th of July, and that made it a great day.

I hope you get to NoCal one of these days. <3
